We continue a series of professional trainings for nurses from all over Ukraine

In recent weeks, participants from different parts of Ukraine have joined our training intensive “The Role of a General Practitioner - Family Medicine Nurse in the Detection, Treatment and Prevention of Tuberculosis”.

It is very pleasant to note that the nurses are interested and active in discussions, practical tasks and case studies. Thanks to teamwork and simulation games, our participants not only gain new knowledge but also practice critical skills necessary for daily work with patients.

Special emphasis is placed on the practical aspects of work, proper interaction with patients and the use of innovative approaches to treatment. The case studies covered during the training help nurses to better understand their key roles in the TB prevention and treatment process.

We remind you that a series of trainings for nurses is being implemented within the framework of the USAID Project “Support to the TB Control in Ukraine”, implemented by PATH and funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with the assistance of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Department of Health of the Lviv Regional State Administration. The Lviv Interregional Training Center at the Lung Health Center is the provider of the training sessions.

We believe that the knowledge gained will become a reliable foundation for the daily practice of our participants and will help to increase the effectiveness of the fight against tuberculosis.
