Location of the training: 150, Nizhne Solotvyno, Zakarpattia region, Derenivska Kupil Sanatorium Complex

The training is part of the project ‘Supporting TB Control Efforts in Ukraine’.

Target audience: Coordinators, instructors, hand hygiene observers and other responsible specialists of healthcare facilities and centers for disease control and prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Purpose of the event: To master the skills of implementing measures to improve hand hygiene in health care facilities in accordance with the Instruction on the implementation of hand hygiene improvement in health care facilities and institutions / institutions providing social services / social protection of the population, approved by the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 03.08.2021 №1614 within the framework of the Project “Support to TB Control in Ukraine”.

• Знання норматично-правової бази з гігієни рук;
• Вміння роботи з інструментами для оцінки гігієни рук;
• Навики розроблення документації з гігієни рук;
• Знання практичних навичок з гігієни рук.

Description of the event structure:

• Event format: offline;
• Duration of the event: three training days;
• The structure of the event:
  - The theoretical part is presented in the form of reports/presentations by trainers and demonstrations of skills;
  – практична частина включатиме: роботу в групах з розбором ситуаційних задач, написанням документації з гігієни рук, проведення оцінки якості проведення гігієни рук за допомогою УФ-тренажера, проведення тематичної онлайн-гри з інфекційного контролю та навчання за допомогою сучасних технологій (VR/AR).

The total amount of study load: 18 hours

Forms of organising and holding the event: Implementation of the planned programme, use of active learning methods, involvement of participants in discussions and practical exercises, evaluation of the results achieved (testing, surveys).

Methods of organising and conducting the event: Lectures and presentations, discussions and debates, practical exercises, demonstrations and examples.

Logistical support for the educational event: Для демонстрації презентацій використовується мультимедійне обладнання, фліп-чарти. Для проведення практичної частини: фліп-чарти, аудіо- та відеообладнання, набори тематичних ігор, УФ-тренажер для оцінки якості гігієни рук та обладнання для VR/AR.

Forms of final control: Вирішення 20-ти тестових завдань, які охоплюють увесь обсяг матеріалу заходу із вибором однієї правильної відповіді. Для успішного проходження контрольного оцінювання та отримання відповідного сертифікату лікар-слухач повинен правильно відповісти не менш ніж на 70% тестових завдань.
